Each completed application will be reviewed based on timely submission. Late submittals will be disqualified.
Completed applications, essays, and letters of recommendation will be reviewed by the DMMOM Scholarship Committee or designated panel of volunteers within the DMMOM organization.
Scholarships will be awarded based upon academic achievement, personal essay and letters of recommendation.
Only one scholarship shall be awarded per person per academic year and shall be applied to tuition, room and board, textbooks or other costs directly related to pursuing a degree at that school.
The winner will be notified in writing within 60 days of the deadline.
Award checks will be sent directly to the university, college, trade or vocational school in both the winner’s name and the school’s name once the student provides an enrollment verification letter after their first term has started.
If an award recipient does not attend a university, college, trade or vocational institution for the academic year that the scholarship was awarded, the award is forfeited.
