I, Leslie Drilling am the proud recipient of the 2025 Des Moines Mothers of Multiples Mom of the Year Award. As loving wife of almost eight-years to Matthew  and a resourceful (most of the time) mother of 3 children - including big-brother, Connor,  and twins Hailey and Jackson- I try to meet the daily joys and challenges of motherhood with grace, humor, and strength often with the help of coffee.

During the 2024-2025 year, I proudly served as Collaborator on the Des Moines Mothers of Multiples (DMMOM) executive board. In this leadership role, I created the total member experience program, with a goal of helping ensure members felted connected and supported to others in DMMOM through active participation in the organization. As part of the program, I organized a wide range of meaningful parent and family events (axe throwing, playdates, etc.), encouraging engagement, and creating spaces where parents of multiples can find community.  I strived to help make DMMOM a place where members felt seen, heard, and celebrated. (Quick shout out to all the "DMMOM QUEENS"!)

I truly am honored to be recognized by my peers as a role-model mother.  My continued passion for service, leadership, and community-building is what will guide me in this next year as DMMOM president. Whether I'm planning a group outing (playdate anyone?), mentoring a fellow parent, or cheering someone on during a tough day (coffee run?), I am committed to leading with authenticity and love in everything I do.
